When you connect your Gmail account to AR Workflow (ARW) using Advanced Email Settings, here’s what you need to know about sending and receiving emails:
1. Sending Emails from ARW
-
Emails you send from ARW will appear in your Gmail Sent folder.
-
This happens because ARW sends emails on behalf of your Gmail account.
2. Receiving Replies from Customers
-
When a customer replies to an email sent from ARW:
-
The reply will appear in your ARW inbox, not directly in Gmail.
-
ARW will also send a copy of the reply to your Gmail account so you have a record there.
-
3. Replying Directly from Gmail
-
If you reply to a customer directly from Gmail:
-
ARW cannot track or sync your reply.
-
This is because ARW only has permission to send emails on your behalf, not read incoming or outgoing emails in Gmail.
-
Summary
-
Emails sent from ARW → Show in Gmail Sent folder.
-
Customer replies → Go to ARW inbox, and a copy is sent to Gmail.
-
Replies from Gmail → ARW cannot track or sync these messages.
By connecting Gmail this way, ARW helps you keep all customer replies organized in one place while still keeping your Gmail updated with copies of messages.
